Programme Purpose
To help students and graduates apply academic knowledge in real-world settings, building practical skills and improving employability in the engineering sector.
Key Responsibilities
Task Execution
- Assist with departmental projects
- Perform operational and technical tasks under supervision
- Support administrative and reporting functions
Learning & Development
- Attend training sessions and workshops
- Participate in mentorship programmes
- Shadow experienced professionals
Communication & Collaboration
- Engage with teams, customers, and stakeholders
- Provide support and respond to queries
Research & Analysis
- Conduct research and data analysis
- Prepare reports and presentations (MS Office)
Compliance & Safety
- Follow company policies and safety procedures
- Maintain confidentiality and professional standards
Minimum Requirements
- Matric Certificate
- Completed S4–S5 theoretical studies in:
- Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current)
- Mechanical Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Must be a South African citizen
- Age between 18 – 35 years
- Must have:
- In-service training letter from institution
- Certified ID & Matric certificate
- Full academic record
- No bursary obligations with another company
