 Programme Purpose

To help students and graduates apply academic knowledge in real-world settings, building practical skills and improving employability in the engineering sector.

 Key Responsibilities

 Task Execution

  • Assist with departmental projects
  • Perform operational and technical tasks under supervision
  • Support administrative and reporting functions

 Learning & Development

  • Attend training sessions and workshops
  • Participate in mentorship programmes
  • Shadow experienced professionals

 Communication & Collaboration

  • Engage with teams, customers, and stakeholders
  • Provide support and respond to queries

 Research & Analysis

  • Conduct research and data analysis
  • Prepare reports and presentations (MS Office)

 Compliance & Safety

  • Follow company policies and safety procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality and professional standards

 Minimum Requirements

  • Matric Certificate
  • Completed S4–S5 theoretical studies in:
    • Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current)
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Industrial Engineering
  • Must be a South African citizen
  • Age between 18 – 35 years
  • Must have:
    • In-service training letter from institution
    • Certified ID & Matric certificate
    • Full academic record
  • No bursary obligations with another company
