• Location: Sandton, Gauteng, South Africa

• Travel: Less than 25% (Regional)

 Role Purpose

Act as a key link between Global IT, Regional IT, and Country teams to ensure alignment, visibility, and effective execution of IT operations and strategic initiatives across Sub-Saharan Africa.

 Key Responsibilities

 IT Governance & Operations

• Drive regional IT governance using CBIT framework
• Coordinate reporting, tracking, and stakeholder updates
• Ensure operational consistency across SSA

 Project & Programme Coordination

• Support regional IT initiatives and projects
• Track risks, milestones, and deliverables
• Coordinate programmes such as:
  • Digital & AI initiatives
  • IT Cost Optimisation Programme (IT COP)
  • Talent development programmes

 Reporting & Communication

• Prepare executive dashboards and reports
• Develop leadership presentations
• Consolidate regional performance updates

 Cost & Vendor Management

• Monitor telecom and IT costs
• Manage supplier and service-level agreements
• Identify cost optimisation opportunities

 Compliance & Improvement

• Support audits, governance, and security requirements
• Drive continuous improvement across IT operations

 Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, ICT, Business Management, or related field
• Project Management / ITIL (advantageous)

Experience

• 5–10 years in:
  • IT Operations
  • Business IT / IT Service Management
  • Project & Programme Coordination
• Experience in regional or multi-country environments
• Logistics/transport industry experience (advantageous)
