Purpose of the Role
The Senior Process Technician provides technical support to production teams, focusing on fault finding, process optimization, and implementing improvements. The role balances problem-solving with proactive system enhancements to ensure efficient and reliable operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical input to production, maintenance, and capital project teams
- Identify and resolve process deviations (OWAP)
- Support reliability and work management goals
- Lead and manage MOC (Management of Change) processes
- Drive deviation tracking using K2 systems
- Capture and analyze data on asset reliability and performance
- Improve maintenance and inspection strategies
- Review operating and commissioning procedures
- Solve operational issues efficiently
- Build strong working relationships across teams
- Develop technical proposals and improvement solutions
- Manage and report on own work performance
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
- Engineering National Diploma / BTech / Advanced Diploma
Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years in a technical/process role
- Senior Technician or Technician II experience advantageous
