About the Role

This role is responsible for operating and maintaining production machinery, ensuring efficient production processes while maintaining strict safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment
• Perform basic first-line maintenance support
• Maintain cleanliness of machines, work areas, and PPE
• Handle, pack, and store raw materials and hazardous chemicals safely
• Load and offload materials and equipment
• Assist with gassing solutions and tanker offloading (where applicable)
• Support maintenance activities and breakdown assistance
• Conduct routine inspections and ensure safety compliance
• Use tools and equipment safely and correctly
• Participate in:
  • Emergency preparedness drills
  • Safety observations (OUPA & BBS)
  • Continuous improvement initiatives
• Perform ad hoc duties and overtime when required

Minimum Requirements

Education

• National Senior Certificate / N3

Experience

• Minimum 1 – 2+ years relevant experience

Licenses

• Valid Driver’s License
