 Job Overview

VKB Engineering Services is seeking a qualified Millwright to join the team in Barkly West / Christiana. The successful candidate will ensure that plant machinery and equipment operate efficiently, safely, and with minimal downtime.

 Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, and commission electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems
• Work on electrical transmission and distribution equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
• Conduct fault-finding and troubleshoot equipment issues
• Report breakdowns and complete job cards and logs
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain quality standards
• Mentor team members on best practices
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety standards
• Complete required training programs

 Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / NQF Level 4
• Valid Millwright Trade Certificate (essential)
• Strong mechanical and electrical experience
• 3–6 years’ relevant experience
• Valid Code B driver’s license
• Willing to travel between Barkly West and Christiana
• Clear criminal record
