 Purpose of the Job

To support the maintenance of instrumentation and control systems, while operating control devices and collecting accurate field data to ensure optimal productivity and system performance.

 Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pipeline and customer station inspections, including gas testing
• Report faults, defects, and operational deficiencies
• Perform vehicle inspections and ensure proper vehicle care
• Drive 4×4 vehicles, LDVs, and trucks (licensed)
• Assist artisans with maintenance and operational tasks
• Maintain housekeeping and safe work environments
• Ensure proper handling and storage of tools and equipment
• Prepare tools and materials required for tasks
• Assist with installation and removal of equipment components
• Identify correct oils and lubricants for servicing
• Maintain strong customer and landowner relations

 Minimum Requirements

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 with Maths, English & Science OR N3 with Maths & Engineering Science
• NQF Level 2 Occupational Qualification
• Valid Driver’s License Code C1 (Code 10)

 Experience

• 1–2 years relevant experience in a similar field
