 Introduction

Eskom Rotek Industries is seeking a qualified Artisan Welder Class A to join the Auxiliary Maintenance team at Medupi Power Station. The successful candidate will perform a wide range of welding tasks and ensure high-quality production and safety standards.

 Job Purpose

To perform all welding-related tasks efficiently, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and operational requirements within a power station environment.

• Strong welding skills across multiple processes

 Knowledge

• Welding of components according to drawings and procedures
• Measuring techniques and tools
• Welding machines, consumables, and materials
• Quality systems and standards
• OSHACT 85 of 1993
• Advanced welding techniques

 Minimum Requirements

Qualifications:

• Matric
• N3 Engineering Studies
• Welder Trade Qualification
• Recognised equivalent welding qualification (RSA)

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience
