About the Role
Sasol is hiring a Fuel Distribution Officer to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate fuel deliveries across its retail and commercial network.
This role is ideal for experienced Code 14 drivers looking to grow within a global energy company that values safety, precision, and operational excellence.
Job Purpose
To ensure that all fuel deliveries are:
✔ Delivered on time
✔ Delivered in full and accurately
✔ Compliant with safety and quality standards
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Code EC (Code 14) Driver’s License
- Valid PrDP
- Dangerous Goods + Hazchem Certificate
Experience Required
- 2–5 years driving experience in the petroleum industry
Key Responsibilities
Fuel Delivery Operations
- Execute on-time and accurate fuel deliveries
- Follow correct delivery sequences
- Minimize delays and unproductive time
Compliance & Safety
- Conduct pre-trip inspections
- Ensure no spillages or contamination
- Follow SHERQ, OHS Act, and site procedures
- Report incidents and risks
Logistics & Reporting
- Complete loading instructions correctly
- Track delivery discrepancies (gains/losses)
- Communicate with Logistics Command Centre
