A well-established transport company based in Montague Gardens, Cape Town is seeking to appoint a dynamic and experienced Fleet Controller to join our workshop and operations team.

  • Minimum Education: Grade 12

 Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a truck/motor vehicle workshop environment (non-negotiable)
  • Strong understanding of fleet maintenance and workshop operations
  • Proven experience in spare parts stock control & supplier management
  • Advanced computer skills:
    • MS Word
    • MS Excel (advanced preferred)
    • MS PowerPoint
  • Strong administrative, reporting & organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Must be available to start immediately

 Key Responsibilities

  • Manage stock control of spare parts and workshop equipment
  • Oversee and report on workshop team performance
  • Coordinate vehicle repairs and maintenance schedules
  • Manage supplier relationships and sourcing
  • Monitor turnaround times and workshop productivity
  • Ensure compliance with cost controls, policies, and procedures
  • Prepare management reports and presentations
