 Introduction

Grain Field Chickens, a subsidiary of VKB Agriculture, operates within the integrated broiler industry with an abattoir in Reitz. This opportunity offers a professional, corporate working environment in a rural setting.

 Job Purpose

To perform all administrative and clerical tasks related to dispatch and warehousing operations, ensuring accurate data capturing and reporting in line with standard operating procedures.

 Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / NQF Level 4
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a warehousing or distribution environment
• Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain (advantageous)
• Working knowledge of NAV (advantageous)
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
• Willingness to work overtime, shifts, and weekends

 Key Responsibilities

• Provide admin support to Warehouse & Distribution teams
• Manage document control (compile, file, capture records)
• Capture and track CHEP pallet movements daily
• Perform load accuracy checks (spot-checks)
• Liaise with Sales and Operations departments
• Create and manage dispatch documentation and orders
• Coordinate delivery schedules and route planning
• Handle dispatch-related queries
• Maintain accurate records on Excel and SharePoint
• Submit reports on time
• Assist with production planning and order balancing
• Support truck loading processes (as per SOP)
• Ensure accurate completion of all required documents

• Loading Information Papers
• CHEP Control Records
