ABOUT THE BURSARY
The Sishen Solar Facility is committed to supporting education and uplifting communities within its operational area. This bursary programme provides financial assistance to deserving learners to pursue tertiary education in South Africa.
WHO CAN APPLY?
• South African citizens
• Current or past Grade 12 learners from the following schools:

Gamagara High School (Deben)
-
Langeberg High School (Olifantsfontein)
-
Hoërskool Kathu
• Preference given to 2026 Matric learners
• Applicants from previously disadvantaged backgrounds
• Accepted at a public South African tertiary institution
ELIGIBLE INSTITUTIONS
• Public Universities
• Universities of Technology
• TVET Colleges
No bursaries available for private institutions
WHAT THE BURSARY COVERS
• Tuition, registration & exam fees
• Accommodation
• Meals
• Learning materials (books & stationery)
SELECTION CRITERIA
• Academic performance (Grade 12 prelim results)
• Financial need (must demonstrate lack of funding)
