WHO CAN APPLY?
• South African citizens
• Grade 12 learners or first-year university students
• Planning to study full-time at a public South African university
• Strong academic performance and financial need

• Actuarial Science
• Commerce (Economics, Accounting, Finance, Investments)
• Business Science
• Computer Science / IT / Informatics
• Engineering
• Science & Mathematics
• Commercial LLB
• Medicine (MBCHB)
ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12 applicants:
• Minimum 60% overall average
• At least 70% in Mathematics (NOT Maths Literacy)
• At least 70% English FAL or 65% English HL
First-year students:
• Minimum 60% average in first semester
• STEM students must achieve at least 60% per subject

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
• Certified South African ID
• Latest academic results
• Matric certificate (if completed)
• Proof of household income (pay slips / affidavits / financial statements)
• Supporting legal documents (if applicable)
IMPORTANT NOTES
• Only for public universities (no private institutions)
• Must apply for university admission separately
• Changing degree after applying may cancel the bursary
• Incomplete applications will NOT be considered
