ABOUT THE BURSARY
The Investec High School Bursary supports talented learners from township and rural schools who show strong academic potential—especially in Mathematics and Physical Science.
The programme helps learners succeed in their current schools and prepares them for future academic and career opportunities.
WHO CAN APPLY?
• South African citizens
• Learners entering Grades 10, 11 or 12 in 2027
• Currently enrolled at their school for at least 1 year
• Strong academic performance and financial need
ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 70% overall average
• At least 70% in Mathematics (NOT Maths Literacy)
• At least 70% in English
• Strong performance in Physical Science and/or Accounting
IMPORTANT NOTE
This bursary supports learners at their current school only
It does NOT transfer learners to new schools
SCHOOL REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 90% matric pass rate
• At least 80% university entrance rate
• 75% of learners take Pure Mathematics
• Strong Maths and English performance
• Supportive learning environment
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
• Certified ID / Birth certificate
• Latest academic results (2025 & 2026)
• Certificates of achievement
• Proof of household income
• Affidavits / legal documents (if applicable)
• Updated CV
SELECTION CRITERIA

• Final selection at Investec’s discretion
