Job Purpose
- Inspect, maintain, and manage production tooling
- Support operational efficiency in the production process
- Ensure tooling is safe, functional, and properly stored
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / NQF Level 4
- 1–3 years experience in a similar role
- Clean criminal record
- Physically fit (able to perform manual labour)
- Willing to work overtime
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect tooling (dies and stereos) regularly
- Handle tooling safely and correctly
- Identify and repair damaged tooling
- Maintain tooling inventory and storage records
- Assist machine operators with mounting/dismounting tools
- Support packaging for courier dispatch
- Maintain consumables and tooling levels
- Assist with minor tooling adjustments
