Job Purpose
- Analyze and support business systems
- Translate business needs into technical solutions
- Improve operational efficiency through system enhancements
- Act as a link between stakeholders and IT teams
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in:
- Information Technology
- Computer Science
- Business Information Systems
- Minimum 3+ years experience as a Systems Analyst
- Experience with:
- System administration tasks
- Software deployment coordination
- Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Strong communication skills (Afrikaans & English)
- Experience working with third-party vendors
Key Responsibilities
- Work with business units to understand processes and requirements
- Analyze and document systems and workflows
- Design and improve IT solutions
- Develop functional and technical specifications
- Collaborate with developers, engineers, and project managers
- Support testing and validation processes
- Monitor system performance after implementation
- Provide user training and documentation
- Assist with project planning and delivery
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Familiarity with ERP systems and enterprise applications
- Knowledge of UML, BPMN, or similar tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to simplify technical concepts
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
