Purpose of the Role

To develop and implement community affairs initiatives aligned with Sasol’s Corporate Social Investment (CSI) strategy, supporting both community development and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure team focus on key priorities, quality standards, and safety
Support the implementation of social impact and community projects
Assist in planning and driving growth initiatives
Maintain and develop community-based programmes
Supervise team activities and ensure compliance with regulations
Track and report on project progress and performance
Resolve issues effectively to minimise operational impact
Liaise with stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teams
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting records
Develop and implement procedures and service level commitments (SLCs)
Align community initiatives with CSI strategies
Drive recreation and hospitality-related initiatives

Minimum Requirements

Education:

3–4-year relevant university degree

Experience:

Minimum 6+ years relevant experience

Skills & Competencies

Collaboration and teamwork
Corporate Social Investment (CSI) knowledge
Strong writing and reporting skills
Customer focus
Adaptability and resilience
Ability to manage change effectively
Knowledge of policies and procedures
Accountability and leadership
