About the Role
Sasol is looking for a Driver Grade 1 (Forklift Operator) to join the Watergel Plant under Regional Operations and Asset Services.
This role involves handling, transporting, and managing materials safely and efficiently using forklifts and other equipment within a high-performance industrial environment.

Minimum Requirements
Education:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
Certifications:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Valid Forklift Competency Certificate
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year experience in explosives manufacturing
- Experience in Watergel Plant (advantageous)
- SAP (PSD) knowledge (advantageous)
Key Responsibilities
- Load and offload materials from trucks and containers
- Transport raw materials to production plants
- Move final products to storage/magazines
- Handle detonators between plants safely
- Perform stacking and pallet movement
- Maintain housekeeping in stores and yard areas
- Record product deliveries accurately
- Report forklift defects and ensure proper maintenance
- Comply with all safety, legal, and operational standards
- Assist with binning, issuing, and preservation tasks
