 About the Role

Eskom is recruiting Plant Operators (X18 positions) at Matla Power Station.

 Job Purpose

To operate plant equipment in accordance with set procedures and safety standards, ensuring efficient and safe power generation.

 Key Responsibilities

• Operate allocated plant equipment
• Monitor plant systems and performance
• Ensure adherence to operational procedures
• Support and oversee learner operators
• Perform additional operational duties as required

 Minimum Requirements

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 / N3 with Mathematics & Science
• OR NQF Level 1 / ABET 4 (Internal)
• PLUS:
  • NQF Level 3 National Certificate in Power Plant Auxiliary Systems Operations

 Experience

• Minimum 1 year experience as a learner plant operator
