The National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) invites unemployed youth to apply for the National Youth Service Programme (NYSP) Phase V 2026, one of South Africa’s largest youth employment initiatives.

Applicants must:

• Be a South African citizen
• Have a valid South African ID
• Be between 18 and 35 years old
• Be currently unemployed
• Reside within the community/municipality of placement
• Be willing to participate fully in the programme
• Not have participated in previous NYSP phases

• Youth not in education, employment, or training (NEET)
• Youth from disadvantaged backgrounds
• Youth living with disabilities
