 Job Purpose

To provide first-line leadership and supervision of maintenance and operations teams, ensuring high performance in safety, production, quality, and cost efficiency.

 Key Responsibilities

 Operations & Maintenance

✔ Plan and manage maintenance and operational activities
✔ Ensure efficient use of equipment and resources
✔ Oversee plant performance and minimize downtime
✔ Manage shutdowns and maintenance schedules

 Safety & Compliance

✔ Ensure compliance with SHERQ standards
✔ Conduct risk assessments and enforce safety procedures
✔ Manage work permits and process safety systems
✔ Lead safety programs and incident investigations

 Leadership & Team Management

✔ Supervise and manage team performance
✔ Handle disciplinary matters and performance issues
✔ Coach and develop artisans
✔ Support staff training and career progression

 Performance & Continuous Improvement

✔ Monitor costs and improve operational efficiency
✔ Participate in RCA (Root Cause Analysis) & PDA
✔ Implement process improvements and innovations
✔ Ensure alignment with company goals and KPIs

 Minimum Requirements

✔ Grade 12 / N3 (Maths, English, Physical Science)
Mechanical Trade Certificate (Red Seal)
8+ years experience in petrochemical/refinery environment
3+ years supervisory/foreman experience
✔ Experience with SAP PM or similar systems
