Sasol is looking for a skilled Logistics Scheduler to manage and optimize daily transportation and delivery schedules across chemical product groups.

This role ensures efficient delivery planning, customer satisfaction, and optimal transport utilization, while adapting to changing operational needs.

 Purpose of the Role

  • Develop and manage optimized delivery schedules
  • Ensure on-time, in-full (OTIFWAC) delivery performance
  • Monitor and adjust logistics plans in real time
  • Support transportation planning using SAP TM systems
  • Ensure efficient execution of stock movement and demand

 Key Responsibilities

  • Allocate and manage loads to transporters
  • Develop daily distribution and delivery schedules
  • Perform dynamic rescheduling based on business changes
  • Monitor execution and ensure schedule adherence
  • Optimize transport capacity and utilization
  • Override system scheduling where necessary for efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with safety and business rules
  • Identify improvements in logistics and scheduling processes
  • Maximize use of logistics systems (SAP TM)
  • Manage Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow (YTT) planning

 Qualifications

  • 3–4 year relevant university degree

 Experience

  • Minimum 3+ years relevant experience
  • Experience in SAP ERP / SAP TM
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
