 Overview

Transnet Property is seeking an experienced Leasing Manager to maximise rental income and drive strategic leasing initiatives across its property portfolio.

This role focuses on revenue growth, tenant relationship management, and lease negotiations across commercial, retail, industrial, and residential spaces.

 Purpose of the Role

  • Maximise rental income through strategic leasing
  • Negotiate and conclude lease agreements within approved frameworks
  • Identify and develop new leasing opportunities
  • Ensure tenant satisfaction while protecting company interests

 Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement leasing strategies across the portfolio
  • Drive new business development and leasing opportunities
  • Conduct market research to maintain competitive positioning
  • Negotiate and finalise new leases and renewals
  • Maintain strong relationships with tenants and brokers
  • Manage vacancy schedules and marketing of available spaces
  • Oversee leasing administration and tenant documentation
  • Manage budgets, income, and expenditure
  • Support CAPEX applications and financial planning
  • Ensure compliance with governance and risk standards

 Minimum Requirements

 Qualifications

  • National Diploma (NQF 6) in:
    • Property Studies
    • Real Estate
    • Economics
  • Advantage: Transnet Leadership Development Programme

 Experience

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience
  • At least 1 year in a supervisory or specialist role
