 Overview

Transnet Freight Rail (TFR) is offering an 18-month internship programme for unemployed South African graduates aged 18–35.

This opportunity provides:

• Practical workplace experience
• Hands-on industry exposure
• Mentorship and skills development

Ideal for students from TVET Colleges who have completed their theoretical studies and require in-service training.

 Position Purpose

To equip graduates with both institutional knowledge and on-the-job training, helping them transition into the workforce and improve employability.

 Placement Locations

Successful candidates may be placed in:

• Saldanha
• Kimberley
• Bloemfontein

 Key Responsibilities

• Participate in communication and PR-related activities
• Support administrative and project coordination tasks
• Assist with stakeholder engagement and internal communications
• Gain exposure to real-world business operations

 Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Qualification in Communication / Public Relations
• Must have completed theoretical training
• No prior work experience required
• South African citizen
