 Job Details

• Job Title: General Worker
• Business Unit (OME): Secunda Operations (EOP)
• Location: Secunda, Mpumalanga, South Africa
• Experience Level: Entry Level (1+ years)
• Driver’s Licence: Required (Code EB / EC1 advantageous)

 Purpose of the Role

To support continuous plant availability through effective maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep of HVAC systems and related equipment within Sasol’s Secunda Operations.

 Key Responsibilities

 Maintenance & Operations

• Assist with maintenance of HVAC and related equipment
• Clean and wash HVAC units, filters, and cooling towers
• Perform sanding and painting of equipment
• Support general upkeep of plant infrastructure

 Housekeeping & Support

• Clean storerooms, plant rooms, and HVAC yards
• Maintain safe and tidy working environments
• Carry tools and equipment within allowable limits
• Operate mobile WAP high-pressure machines

 Safety & Compliance

• Adhere to safety procedures and SHE standards
• Ensure proper handling of equipment and tools
• Support compliance with operational protocols

 Minimum Requirements

• National Senior Certificate / N3 (with English)
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Valid driver’s licence (advantageous for EB / EC1)

 Experience Required

• Minimum 1+ year relevant experience in mechanical or industrial environments
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Exposure to plant, maintenance, or technical environments (advantageous)
