Job Purpose
To lead and manage Demand & Replenishment Planning (DRP) activities, ensuring efficient product flow, demand balancing, and supply chain optimisation across Sasol’s chemical product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Planning & Optimisation
✔ Translate S&OP plans into actionable DRP plans
✔ Balance demand and supply across multiple product lines
✔ Analyse supply chain constraints and optimise operations
✔ Monitor stock levels and ensure efficient inventory control
Data & Performance Management
✔ Build and maintain DRP dashboards and reports
✔ Analyse trends and improve KPIs
✔ Ensure data accuracy for planning decisions
✔ Provide business intelligence insights
Supply Chain & Logistics Coordination
✔ Work with logistics, marketing, sales, and operations teams
✔ Manage stock transfers and depot inventory levels
✔ Ensure continuity during disruptions (strikes, demand spikes, etc.)
✔ Align planning with refinery and production schedules
Risk & Crisis Management
✔ Lead planning during supply chain disruptions
✔ Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
✔ Support business decisions to minimise financial impact
Leadership & Team Development
✔ Lead and support the DRP team
✔ Build strong stakeholder relationships
✔ Drive a high-performance and collaborative culture
