GH Transport is hiring experienced Code 14 Truck Drivers for long-distance cross border transportation of dangerous goods.

This is a high-responsibility, high-reward role suited for skilled drivers with tanker experience and strong safety awareness.

 Key Responsibilities

• Transport dangerous goods safely across borders
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance
• Follow all road safety and transport regulations
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety standards
• Report incidents, defects, or delays immediately

 Daily Duties

• Perform vehicle inspections and report defects
• Communicate with controllers on deliveries & collections
• Ensure on-time delivery and route compliance
• Secure loads and assist with loading/offloading
• Handle border clearance procedures
• Maintain safety equipment and documentation
• Monitor fuel usage and prevent shortages

 Minimum Requirements

• Valid Code 14 Driver’s License
• Valid Dangerous Goods (DGP) Certification
• Minimum 3 years tanker driving experience
• Clean driving record (no major offences in past 3 years)
• South African citizen
• Minimum Grade 10 (Grade 12 preferred)
• Age 25+
• No criminal record
• Fully vaccinated

 Advantage

• Afrox training or work experience (highly beneficial)
• Mechanical knowledge (added advantage)
• Ability to obtain a blasting license (if required)
