Job Purpose
To provide administrative support and services related to policy management (renewals, endorsements, and updates), while ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
Role Overview
As part of FNB’s Commercial Insurance team, you will:
- Support internal and external stakeholders
- Deliver high-quality customer service
- Ensure operational efficiency in policy administration
- Contribute to process improvements and service excellence
Key Responsibilities
- Support policy administration (renewals, endorsements, updates)
- Drive product sales and identify upselling opportunities
- Resolve customer queries and complaints efficiently
- Ensure adherence to SLAs and turnaround times
- Maintain accurate reporting and documentation
- Build strong stakeholder relationships
- Provide product knowledge and customer guidance
- Analyse feedback to improve service delivery
- Ensure compliance with governance and risk standards
- Identify process improvements for better efficiency
- Track performance and implement development plans
Minimum Requirements
- FAIS accredited qualification (NQF Level 6 or higher)
- RE5 certification
- DOFA statement (not older than 3 months)
- Product-specific training completed
Experience Required
- Minimum 5 years’ senior underwriting experience (Commercial/Business Insurance)
- 2–3 years’ experience in an Administration Broker role
- Experience in a Commercial Banking environment
- Strong exposure to high-level customer queries
