Accounts Payable Clerk – Johannesburg
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Clerk / Admin Coordinator to join a dynamic team in Johannesburg. This role is ideal for someone with strong financial administration skills and a solid background in creditors and reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and capture creditors’ invoices accurately and efficiently
- Verify, audit, and reconcile supplier invoices
- Prepare payments and ensure timely processing
- Perform detailed reconciliations of accounts
- Maintain the fixed asset register
- Ensure all auditor requirements and deliverables are met
- Support financial control processes and reporting
- Assist with general administrative and office procedures
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics and English
- Bookkeeping qualification or studying towards an Accounting qualification
- 3–5 years’ experience handling the full creditors/accounts payable function
- Strong reconciliation and financial accuracy skills
- Knowledge of ERP accounting systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Good understanding of company policies and financial procedures
- Solid knowledge of creditors’ processes and principles
