ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP
The MAD Leadership Foundation supports academically talented young South Africans with leadership potential who are committed to making a difference in their communities.

Scholars receive long-term support throughout their education journey and into their professional careers.

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

1. MIKE ILSLEY MEMORIAL (MIM) SCHOLARSHIP
(In partnership with FEM Education Foundation)
For students pursuing Chartered Accountancy (CA(SA))

Requirements:
• South African citizen
• 1st or 2nd-year university student (2026)
• Studying Chartered Accountancy
• Minimum 70% in Financial Accounting
• Household income ≤ R35,000/month
• Leadership and community involvement

2. MAD LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP (STEM / COMMERCE)

Requirements:
• South African citizen
• Grade 12 (2026) OR 1st-year student
• Accepted into STEM or Commerce field
• Minimum 65% average
• Household income ≤ R35,000/month
• Basic English proficiency

3. MAD LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP (EARLY ACCESS)

Requirements:
• South African citizen
• Currently in Grade 8 (2026)
• Progressing to Grade 9 in 2027
• Household income ≤ R35,000/month
• Demonstrates leadership & community involvement
• Basic English proficiency
