ABOUT THE BURSARY
Kathu Solar Park invites applications for its 2027 bursary programme aimed at supporting students from the John Taolo Gaetsewe (JTG) District.
The programme provides financial assistance to help students access quality higher education and build a brighter future.
WHO CAN APPLY?
• South African citizens
• Students currently studying OR starting studies in 2027
• Residents of Kathu / JTG District
• Registered or accepted at an accredited institution
(FET Colleges, Universities of Technology, or Universities)
WHAT THE BURSARY COVERS
✔ Tuition, registration & exam fees
✔ Accommodation
✔ Meals
✔ Study materials (books, stationery, etc.)
Funding value is determined individually
SELECTION CRITERIA
• Strong academic performance (Grade 12 or tertiary results)
• Proven financial need (household income ≤ R600,000 per year)
• Must be studying full-time
Preference may be given to applicants with the greatest financial need
IMPORTANT NOTES
• Bursaries are limited and based on available funding
• Only complete applications will be considered
