CETA Thapelo Madibeng Bursary 2026 — Full Funding for Built-Environment Studies

The Construction Education & Training Authority (CETA) invites unemployed South African students to apply for the Thapelo Madibeng Bursary Scheme.

This bursary supports students studying built-environment qualifications at South African public institutions.

What the Bursary Covers

  • Tuition fees

  • Prescribed textbooks

  • Accommodation & meals

  • Transport (conditions apply)

  • Research allowance (Masters & PhD only)

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be South African citizens

  • Be currently unemployed

  • Be studying or accepted into a built-environment qualification

  • Study at a public institution in South Africa

  • Have at least 50% overall average

  • Have a household income below R600,000 per year

Required Documents

  • Certified ID copy

  • Matric certificate / latest academic results

  • Proof of registration or acceptance

  • Parents/guardians’ ID copies

  • Proof of household income

  • Affidavit of unemployment
