 Job Overview

Liberty Group Limited is seeking a Specialist, Regulatory Monitoring to execute Compliance Monitoring plans across designated business areas.

This role ensures the effective identification, reporting, and mitigation of compliance risks in line with the Group Monitoring Framework. The successful candidate will help prevent operational losses, fines, regulatory penalties, and reputational damage while strengthening the organisation’s governance and competitive positioning.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Execute Compliance Monitoring plans and activities in line with Group standards

  • Identify, assess, and report compliance risks and non-compliance cases

  • Support the development of effective compliance risk management solutions

  • Interpret regulatory requirements and upcoming legislative developments

  • Align compliance processes with business operations and strategic objectives

  • Promote sound governance, risk, and control practices

  • Assist in avoiding operational, legal, and reputational risk exposure

 Minimum Qualifications

A First Degree in one of the following fields:

  • Audit

  • Business Commerce

  • Legal

 Experience Required

✔ 5–7 years’ experience in Compliance Risk Management
✔ Specialist expertise in Compliance Advisory and Monitoring
✔ Strong knowledge of financial services regulatory frameworks
✔ Understanding of banking/insurance policies, products, and activities
✔ Ability to translate business operations into practical compliance risk solutions
