Position Purpose
Provide strategic project management and financial analytical support to the CFO’s office. The role focuses on driving high-impact finance initiatives, including infrastructure funding, private sector partnerships, and cost optimisation to support TRIM’s financial sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Private Sector Participation (PSP)
- Lead financial modelling and scenario analysis
- Structure PPPs and corridor concession deals
- Develop business cases and investment reports
- Support negotiations with stakeholders and investors
2. Budget Facility for Infrastructure (BFI)
- Manage BFI funding applications to National Treasury
- Track approved funding, expenditure, and compliance
- Prepare progress and financial reports
3. Cost Optimisation & Revenue Enhancement
- Identify cost-saving opportunities
- Develop financial models to track savings
- Drive revenue growth initiatives
4. Strategic Finance Project Management
- Manage end-to-end finance projects
- Coordinate cross-functional teams
- Monitor risks, timelines, and deliverables
5. Financial Modelling & Analysis
- Build advanced financial models (DCF, NPV, IRR)
- Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis
- Prepare reports for Exco, Board, and stakeholders
6. Stakeholder Management
- Engage with National Treasury, DBSA, IDC, and partners
- Collaborate internally across finance and operations teams
7. Governance & Reporting
- Maintain funding registers and compliance records
- Support audits and ensure proper documentation
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BCom / Business Science / Financial Management)
- Postgraduate qualification in Finance/Accounting preferred
- CA(SA), CIMA, or MBA advantageous
Experience:
- 8–10 years in finance
- Minimum 5 years at management level
- Strong experience in financial modelling & project finance
- Experience in PSP/PPP or infrastructure finance advantageous
Additional Requirements:
