Position Summary:
Develop and support technology strategies, processes, standards, specifications, and designs for grid planning and customer connections. This role involves technical consulting, engineering design, and contributing to new technology research while mentoring engineers.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical consulting, investigation, and support services to customers

Produce and integrate asset creation engineering solutions and designs

Develop discipline-specific philosophies, technical standards, procedures, and work practices

Conduct research on new technologies and manage technical change

Participate in national and international technical forums

Contribute to the development of engineers within your discipline
Required Qualifications & Experience:
-
BSc/BEng in Engineering (NQF 8, 480 credits)
-
Minimum 4 years’ technical experience in engineering-related technologies
-
ECSA registration as a professional engineer
