POSITION: Technician I – Instrument & Control
JOB PURPOSE
Maintain, install, troubleshoot, and optimise instrumentation & control systems to improve plant performance and reduce operational variability.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
✔ Matric / N3 (Maths, Science & English)
✔ National Diploma / BTech / BEng Tech in Instrumentation
✔ Minimum 1 year relevant experience
✔ Valid Driver’s License
🛠️ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain & troubleshoot control systems
- Install & upgrade instrumentation systems
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) & failure analysis
- Work with Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
- Conduct performance testing & system optimisation
- Compile reports & analyse technical data
- Ensure compliance with safety & engineering standards
