Eskom is seeking a qualified Officer Financial Accounting to provide professional financial reporting and accounting support. The role ensures compliance with IFRS standards, applicable legislation, and internal financial policies to maintain strong financial governance and control.

 Role Purpose

To deliver accurate financial reporting and accounting services while supporting compliance, internal controls, and financial discipline across the organization.

 Key Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory reporting packs and financial schedules
• Monitor general ledger, tax compliance, and sundry debtors
• Manage retention accounts and ensure accuracy
• Coordinate foreign exchange processes and hedge accounting
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and internal controls
• Supervise staff within the functional area
