Job Purpose
To operate and maintain electrical equipment, perform routine maintenance tasks, and ensure safe, efficient plant operations in line with performance and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Maintenance & Operations
✔ Operate and maintain electrical equipment
✔ Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting
✔ Participate in root cause analysis (RCA)
✔ Support plant performance and stability
Safety & Compliance
✔ Participate in risk assessments
✔ Follow safety procedures and legislation
✔ Maintain housekeeping and waste management standards
✔ Assist during emergency situations
Performance & Reporting
✔ Provide feedback to supervisors
✔ Participate in shift handovers
✔ Monitor KPIs and operational performance
Team & Development
✔ Coach and support learners
✔ Contribute to training and development
✔ Participate in toolbox talks
✔ Work effectively within a team
Minimum Requirements
✔ Grade 12 / N3 (Maths, Physical Science, English)
✔ Trade Test: Electrician (Required)
✔ Valid Driver’s License
✔ 3+ years relevant experience
