 Main Purpose of the Job

 deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in accordance with the Scope of Practice and hospital standards, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and safety.

 Key Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team

• Identify, prevent, and report risks to ensure patient safety

• Facilitate a positive patient experience in a supportive care environment

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive nursing records

• Support a learning environment that enhances staff competence

• Ensure accurate charging of stock and equipment used

 Required Education

Essential:
✔ Enrolled Nurse Certificate

Desired (for specialised wards):
✔ CPD courses in relevant speciality areas

 Required Experience

Essential:
✔ No minimum experience required

Desired:
✔ 1 year post-qualification experience before placement in a specialised unit

 Required Skills & Knowledge

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• Infection Prevention & Control

• Pharmacology knowledge

• Scientific nursing principles and processes

• Patient assessment skills

• Nursing care planning

• Knowledge of relevant nursing legislation

• Risk identification and reporting

• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
