Purpose of the Job
To perform and support a variety of warehouse and depot operations, ensuring efficient daily logistics, stock accuracy, and compliance with safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
- Receive, bin, stack, store, pick, and issue stock
- Maintain proper storage practices and stock accuracy
- Conduct periodic and perpetual stock counts
- Execute SAP warehouse transactions accurately
Logistics & Plant Operations
- Load and offload bulk products into trucks
- Operate pumps and forklifts
- Handle hoses and perform tank dipping
- Conduct water/product sampling
Safety & Compliance
- Identify hazards, risks, and plant defects
- Follow governance, compliance, and SOX controls
- Adhere to warehouse procedures and standards
- Maintain housekeeping and safe working environment
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Dangerous Goods Certificate
- Valid Code 10 Driver’s License with PDP
- Minimum 3+ years relevant experience in warehouse/logistics
