Job Overview

Boxer Superstores is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Officer to support the Head of Compliance in ensuring the company operates within regulatory and legal frameworks.

The role focuses on regulatory compliance, risk management, customer complaint handling, litigation tracking, and compliance reporting, while promoting a strong culture of compliance within the organization.

Minimum Requirements

Experience

  • 3 – 5 years experience in compliance, risk, legal, audit, or regulatory environments

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Advanced Certificate

  • Qualification in Law, Risk Management, Compliance, Governance, or related fields (advantageous)

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of compliance risk management principles

  • Ability to interpret legislation and implement practical compliance actions

  • Experience in retail, FMCG, logistics, or operational environments (advantageous)

  • Strong organisational and attention to detail skills

  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research tools

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Key Responsibilities

Compliance Framework Management

  • Support implementation and maintenance of Boxer’s Compliance Management Framework

  • Assist with compliance risk assessments and management plans

  • Maintain compliance obligations registers

Regulatory Monitoring

  • Monitor regulatory developments and assist with impact assessments

  • Support policy maintenance and updates

Complaints & Litigation Management

  • Oversee customer complaints and litigation tracking

  • Liaise with legal and risk teams regarding compliance matters

Compliance Training & Culture

  • Support compliance training initiatives

  • Monitor training completion and awareness programmes

Reporting & Governance

  • Manage whistleblowing case administration and reporting

  • Prepare compliance reports and governance documentation for internal and external stakeholders
