Job Overview

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric

Additional Requirements

• Computer literacy (advantageous)

• Ability to communicate effectively in English

• Must reside close to the store

Key Responsibilities

Cash Handling & Transactions

• Prepare and manage the cash float.

• Operate the till and scanner efficiently when processing customer purchases.

• Receive and process all forms of payment during checkout.

Customer Service

• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.

• Assist customers and respond to queries politely.

Store Operations

• Prevent wastage, shrinkage, and damages.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards at the checkout area.

• Follow store security procedures and operational guidelines.

Equipment & Safety

• Operate and clean equipment according to company standards.

• Maintain safe working conditions at the checkout area.
