The TTI Bursary Programme provides full-cost bursaries to eligible undergraduate and selected postgraduate students studying at public universities, Universities of Technology, TVET Colleges, and Agricultural Colleges in South Africa.
The bursary is made possible through contributions from private sector funders and is aimed at supporting academically deserving students from previously disadvantaged backgrounds, including the missing middle.
What the TTI Bursary Covers
The TTI full-cost bursary includes:

Tuition fees

Accommodation
-
Study materials
-
Monthly meal or transport allowance
In addition, all funded students receive:

Mentoring
-
Coaching
-
Psychosocial support
Who Can Apply?
Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

Must be accepted or registered at a DHET-registered university or college
-
Must be studying towards a first degree (undergraduate)
-
Must be Black as defined by B-BBEE codes (African, Coloured, Indian)
-
Must come from a previously disadvantaged background, including the missing middle
-
Parents’ or guardians’ combined household income exceeds R350,000 per annum
-
Academically achieving students will be given preference
Supporting Documents Required
Applicants must submit the following documents:

Certified copy of South African ID

Proof of registration or acceptance letter from the institution

Full academic record, including latest results
-
A clear head-and-shoulders photograph
Incomplete applications will not be considered
