⚠️ Important: The Thuthuka Bursary is ONLY for students pursuing Chartered Accountancy (CA).

 Important Notice

  • This application is not a guarantee of funding.

  • Successful applicants will be required to sign a contract with:

    • Thuthuka Education & Upliftment Fund (TEUF)

    • NSFAS

  • The bursary cannot be used to settle existing loans or debts.

  • Selection is based on:

    • Academic performance

    • National Benchmark Test (NBT) results

    • Financial need (as assessed by NSFAS means test)

Your application will be considered incomplete if:

  • The consent form is not signed, or

  • Required documents are not uploaded, or

  • Mandatory fields (marked in red) are left blank

 Your application is only submitted once you click “SUBMIT”.

 Required Supporting Documents

  • Signed consent form (download it here)

  • Applicant’s certified South African ID

  • Parent(s)/Guardian(s) certified ID copies

  • Parent(s)/Guardian(s) latest salary slip

  • IDs of all dependents in the household

  • Final Grade 11 results

  • Final Grade 12 results (if completed)

  • Full university transcript (if already studying)

  • University provisional acceptance letter (for Grade 12 learners)
