The SIOC Community Development Trust (SIOC-CDT) invites learners and students to apply for the 2026 bursary funding for post-matric studies.
This bursary aims to support youth from SIOC-CDT beneficiary communities to access higher education and build sustainable livelihoods.
About the SIOC-CDT Bursary Fund
The SIOC-CDT bursary is focused on empowering students from beneficiary communities, including:

Thabazimbi
The bursary supports undergraduate and postgraduate studies, with preference given to undergraduate applicants who demonstrate financial need.
Who Can Apply?
Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Must be a South African citizen
-
Must reside in or originate from SIOC-CDT beneficiary communities
-
Must be 35 years old or younger by the closing date
-
Must be accepted or provisionally accepted at a public higher education institution for the 2026 academic year
-
Must demonstrate financial need
-
Preference is given to undergraduate students
