 About the Bursary

The Municipal Infrastructure Support Agent (MISA) invites applications from qualifying South African students who wish to pursue undergraduate studies in Built Environment fields.

MISA’s goal is to strengthen technical capacity in municipalities and develop future infrastructure professionals for local government.

  • Students from rural areas

  • Households earning less than R600 000 per year

  • Previously disadvantaged youth

 Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must submit certified copies of:

  • South African ID

  • Matric / Grade 12 certificate

  • Latest academic records (if currently studying)

  • Last year’s tertiary results (if continuing student)

  • Proof of registration (institution letterhead)

  • Proof of residence & enrolment form (if already studying)

  • Proof of household income (affidavit or payslips)

  • Financial statement from institution

⚠ Household income must be below R600 000 per year.
