Marula Mine, a subsidiary of Impala Platinum Holdings Limited (Implats), is inviting eligible students from local Limpopo communities to apply for its 2026 Bursary Programme. The bursary aims to support talented students pursuing studies in mining, engineering, and related fields.
Marula Mine is located in Limpopo and forms part of Implats, one of the world’s leading producers of platinum group metals.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

Must reside in a local community in Limpopo province

Must have completed Matric with a university exemption
-
Must be studying or intending to study in one of the approved fields

Must be studying or accepted at one of these universities:

University of Cape Town (UCT)

University of Johannesburg (UJ)

University of Pretoria (UP)

North-West University (Potchefstroom)

University of the Witwatersrand (Wits)

Minimum C symbol in:

Minimum 60% average if currently at university

Must be medically fit

Must demonstrate leadership potential, teamwork, problem-solving and communication skills
Preference will be given to candidates from designated groups, in line with the Employment Equity Act.
