 Fields of Study Covered (2026)

Applicants must be registered in 3rd or 4th year for one of the following qualifications:

  • Mechanical Engineering (BEng)

  • Electrical Engineering – Heavy Current (BEng)

  • Metallurgical Engineering (BEng / Advanced National Diploma)

  • Chemical Engineering (BEng / Advanced National Diploma)

 Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, applicants must:

  • Be a South African citizen

  • Be registered at a nationally recognised South African university

  • Be in 3rd or 4th year of study in 2026

  • Have passed all subjects with 70% or higher

  • Demonstrate strong academic performance and commitment to their field of study
