The GrandWest Bursary Programme is now open for applications. This bursary supports undergraduate students who wish to pursue studies in key career fields linked to economic growth and skills development in South Africa.

Fields of Study Covered

The bursary is available for students studying towards qualifications in:

Tourism and Hospitality
Information Technology (IT)
Agriculture
Entrepreneurship
Human Resources
Marketing
Finance
Electrical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Be a South African citizen
Be a Western Cape resident (applications are open exclusively to Western Cape residents)
Be registered for full-time undergraduate studies
Have matriculated in South Africa
Be registered at one of the following institutions:
- University of the Western Cape (UWC)
- Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT)
- University of Cape Town (UCT)
- Stellenbosch University
Be studying towards one of the listed career paths
Be currently in undergraduate studies

Applicants living with an impairment or disability are strongly encouraged to apply, including (but not limited to):
