African Rainbow Minerals (ARM) is inviting applications for its 2026 Bursary Programme for eligible South African students currently studying at Stellenbosch University and the University of Cape Town (UCT). This bursary is aimed at supporting high-performing students in selected engineering and science fields.

Geology
Process Engineering
Chemical Engineering
Civil Engineering

(UCT students in relevant fields are also encouraged to apply.)

What the ARM Bursary Covers

The bursary offers a fully-funded package, including:

Full registration and tuition fees
Official university accommodation
Meal allowance
Prescribed textbooks
A laptop

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

Be a South African citizen
Be currently registered at Stellenbosch University or UCT
Have a strong academic record
Not be in receipt of another bursary or scholarship

Required Documents

Submit clear, certified PDF copies of the following:

South African ID
Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
Full university academic record (on official letterhead)
University registration letter or proof of completion of first year
